Description

Gets the filename extension.

Usage

## S3 method for class 'GenericDataFile'
getExtension(this, ...)

Arguments

...

Arguments passed to *getFilename() and *getDefaultFullName().

Value

Returns a character string (which is of length zero if "empty" file).
